Korbyt team members recently attended the 2025 Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) tech show, which revealed what’s on trend and what’s coming soon in the world of systems integration and audiovisual (AV) technology. Here are five developments we’re excited about.
1. Smart Workplace
ISE 2025 showcased major advancements in workplace experience. Smart office technologies are evolving to enhance space management, automate booking systems with sensor integration, and optimize workplace communication through AI-driven tools. The rise of flexible and hybrid work models was a key theme, with discussions on bring-your-own-device (BYOD) strategies and digital signage for seamless collaboration. Additionally, wellness-focused AV solutions gained attention, emphasizing the role of technology in creating healthier and more productive work environments. These trends reflect a broader industry shift toward more intelligent, adaptable, and employee-centric workplaces.
2. AI Has (Truly) Arrived
Many early “AI-powered” solutions were more about marketing hype than true innovation, but what we say at ISE shows that’s starting to change. Korbyt and some of our industry peers are bringing to market powerful tools that transform how digital content is created and managed. We specifically chose ISE as the platform to debut our new AI-assisted Digital Signage Content Builder, which is powered by our proprietary large language model (LLM). The enthusiastic reception we received confirmed that the market is ready to embrace AI, and we’re excited to roll out additional AI capabilities later this year.
3. Esports and Immersive Experiences
ISE 2025 introduced a dedicated Esports Arena in partnership with Liga de Videojuegos Profesional (LVP). This 1,000 m² space hosted live esports tournaments, highlighting the newest innovations in gaming displays, immersive audio, lighting, and networking technologies. The arena underscored esports’ growing influence in education, corporate training, and entertainment venues.
4. Advancements in Display Technologies
- E-Paper Displays: Companies like Sharp presented large-format e-paper solutions, including a 75-inch outdoor display powered by photovoltaic cells, emphasizing energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Chip-on-Board (COB) LEDs: COB LED technology gained prominence for its energy efficiency and ease of integration, with experts predicting it could surpass traditional surface-mount device (SMD) LEDs. Absen’s KLCOB Micro LED Series exemplified this trend.
5. Sustainability and Energy Efficiency
Sustainability remained a focal point, with manufacturers striving to enhance energy efficiency across devices. Innovations included energy-efficient displays, remote device management, and the use of sustainable materials, reflecting a commitment to reducing environmental impact.
